03 January 2005Brian visits India "Early last year I was lucky enough to be introduced to Pearl Mountain coffee from southern central India by a superb fifth generation coffee roaster from Sheffield-so I knew I was onto a good thing!

This year things got even better when I went out to India and got involved in the picking of the coffee on the slopes of the Pearl Mountain region. What a joy to be so involved in a coffee that has to be one of the best I've ever tasted-sweet, well rounded and with an attractive aroma it's great.

Pearl Mountain is a superb all day drinking coffee so now I've found, through exactly the same source, a brilliant after dinner coffee, strong, mature and rich in flavour and this comes from the Cerrado region of Brazil.
