The Awards seek to recognise business people who have made a contribution to the development of Apprenticeships and to highlight the achievements of those whose successful careers began through vocational training and who have demonstrated their continuing support for it, in particular for Apprenticeships.
Sadly Brian could not attend 10 Downing Street to collect his award due to being in Lyon for the Bocuse d'Or Competition but Brian is delighted to be given the award.
He commented, “Although I could not be there in person, I’m very proud to accept this award. I trained as an apprentice myself and it was a great way to learn my skill. I worked with passionate people who showed me what to do, corrected me and helped me to go on to bigger and better things.”
